The Samsung LN46B650 46 LCD TV – Is It Hyped?

I am always weary of new technology as everyone hypes it up as being the best thing since sliced bread.  I don’t eat bread, but when I wanted to find a good television, I did a lot of research before making a final purchase.  In the end, I picked up the Samsung LN46B650 46 LCD TV.

I am very fussy when I watch TV.  I wanted a good picture and excellent sound.  Anything less was not going to work, so when I got this TV, I pushed it to its limits.

I checked connections, varied settings and played around until I had discovered everything that I could about it.  I am glad I did because it proved to be a very valuable asset, despite the fact that I spent a fortune buying it.

So, what features and benefits made me view the Samsung LN46B650 46 LCD TV as worthwhile?  Most important to me was the color quality, something that is really good on this TV.

Otherwise, the features and benefits far out-weighed the odd flaws that it has, like a slight bluish hint when viewing black and grey scale pictures.  Check these out:

•    sharp colours
•    realistic colours
•    well defined and distinctive blacks and grays
•    no bleeding with shadows
•    excellent contrast

The overall picture quality was excellent, but what took away from that was the screen.  Despite being high end and LCD, it is rather glossy, making it a problem if you have a large room with lots of sunshine pouring in.

In fact, I could only position the Samsung LN46B650 46 LCD TV is still good value for money.

Personally, I wish they had other colors to choose from as the gray casing is fine sometimes, but with my décor, it clashes with everything!

Samsung LN46B650 LCD TV – Viewing Excellence?

Most of the generation X have maintained their opinion on what should be included in the televisions they buy.  Their main priorities put features and benefits over elegance and looks in the scheme of things. That is why, as a generation X member, I want to share my non-technical experience with my new Samsung LLN46B650, emphasizing the viewing excellence that I enjoy daily with this amazing TV.

I have grown up enjoying new technology that has taken my generation from the days of black and white televisions and fiddly antennas to the sophistication of flat screen, LCD televisions.

When I finally put my old tube type TV into television graveyard, I was very please with what I got out of my new TV.

I didn’t have to suffer the fuzzy pictures and ghosts of other programs anymore, even advancing beyond the scope of cable TV to satellite and Internet streamed programming and movies.

So, what appealed most to be about the Samsung LLN46B650?  Well, I admit that I was taken in by the picture quality, improved scenes that gave darker moments more clarity.

In fact, the benefits that I enjoyed with such viewing excellence cannot be underestimated.  Check these out:

•    clear and sharp images
•    no blurring in darker scenes
•    excellent contrasts
•    incredible depth
•    no freezing or blurring with action scenes
•    no screen glare or reflections from the sun or bright lights
•    crystal clear and well-defined colors
•    four HDMI ports
•    two additional component ports
•    two USB input ports
•    an Ethernet/s-cable port

What has been achieved over the years has been carefully blended into a TV that offers picture quality that is beyond compare.  I can even hook up my computer and do my work without having to strain my eyes with the small screen that I used to use.

Yes, the Samsung LLN46B650 has grabbed the attention of the generation X in more ways than one.
